Results End of Year 2023

The Year 2019-2020 was fragmented due to the Corona Virus. The DfE did not provide end of year SATs for pupils following such a disrupted year. Our previous set of results were for 2019.

Children and staff have worked very hard to get everyone back on track to achieve the below results over this past year 2022- 2023 .

End of EYFS outcomes

72% of children attained a good level of development compared with 72% nationally in 2019.

A good level of development is defined as a child reaching the expected standard across 12 prime areas from the EYFS curriculum. As well as achieving highly, our children have made very good progress.

Y1 Phonics check

 Progress Scores:

Progress scores will be centred around 0, with most schools within the range of -5 to +5.

  • A score of 0 means pupils in this school on average do about as well at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.
  • A positive score means pupils in this school on average do better at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.
  • A negative score means pupils in this school on average do worse at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.

A negative score does not mean that pupils did not make any progress, rather it means they made less progress than other pupils nationally with similar starting points.

These are excellent results of which the pupils should be very proud
